A Note From Sana
As we navigate our increasingly digital world, finding tools that support rather than hinder our mental health becomes essential. I've personally reviewed these resources and encourage you to determine if they can be valuable supplements to your therapy work.
Remember that while these digital tools can be valuable supports, they're not replacements for professional care. I encourage you to discuss any new practices with your therapist.

Digital Wellness Practices
Creating Digital Boundaries
Being mindful about technology use is essential for mental health. Here are some practices I recommend to my clients:
Morning Digital Detox
Keep your phone outside your bedroom and wait 30
minutes after waking before checking notifications.
App Time Limits
Use your phone's screen time settings to limit social
media use to specific times or durations.
Notification Audit
Review and disable non-essential notifications to reduce
digital distractions and anxiety triggers.
Digital Sabbath
Choose one day a week (or even just a few hours) to
disconnect from all non-essential technology.
Weekly Digital Wellness Challenge
Each week, I'll post a new digital wellness challenge here. Try incorporating these into your routine:
This Week: Mindful Media Consumption
Before opening social media apps, pause and set an intention for what you want to gain from your time online. When you close
the app, take a moment to reflect on how your mood has changed.
